How to compress a pdf
- Upload the PDF you want to shrink.
- Pick a compression level.
- Check the size saving and download.
You choose the trade-off
Four levels, from a light pass that is visually identical to an aggressive one for when there is a hard size limit.
Text stays text
Compression targets images and redundant data. Text remains selectable and searchable rather than being flattened into a picture.

Questions
How much smaller will my file get?
It depends almost entirely on what is inside. Image-heavy scans often drop by 70-90%; a text-only document may barely change, because there is little redundancy to remove.
Will compression make my PDF blurry?
At the balanced level, differences are hard to see on screen. The higher levels reduce image resolution more aggressively. We show you the resulting size so you can judge before downloading.
How long are my files kept?
Two hours, then they are deleted automatically. There is also a delete button on the result screen if you want them gone immediately.
Do you look at the contents of my documents?
No. Files are processed automatically and are never read by a person or used to train any model.
Is there a watermark on the result?
No. What you download is exactly what the tool produced.
