What is BR19?
A State Pension forecast is based on your National Insurance record and shows what you may get at State Pension age, along with the record built up so far. It helps you see whether extra qualifying years would improve the amount and plan around any gaps. BR19 is the paper route to that forecast.
You can apply if you are aged 16 or over and at least 30 days away from State Pension age when the application is looked at. The form asks for your name, address, date of birth and National Insurance number, and for details of time spent abroad or periods that could affect your record.
