What is T776?
T776, Statement of Real Estate Rentals, is a Canada Revenue Agency form for reporting income and expenses from renting out real estate. You use it to record gross rents, deductible expenses such as insurance, interest, property taxes, repairs and management fees, and any capital cost allowance you choose to claim. The resulting net rental income or loss is carried to your T1 income tax and benefit return.
