Where JustPDF is strong

The local-processing question, fairly
JustPDF's core claim is that files never leave your device, and for most of its tools that is true, verifiable, and genuinely valuable. The honest footnotes come from its own documentation: the Chat with PDF feature sends extracted text to a cloud AI service, and its developer API processes files server-side. Neither footnote is hidden, which speaks well of them.
PDFRaw made the opposite architectural bet: processing on servers we run. That is what makes 113 tools possible, including jobs a browser cannot reasonably do, and the privacy answer is a hard rule rather than a hope: every file deleted two hours after upload, enforced three ways, no third-party conversion API ever, and AI tools that send text to a language model only for the result you asked for. In-browser is more private per task; our model does more tasks. Both statements are simply true.
What the free tiers actually allow
JustPDF free allows 3 operations per day on files up to 25 MB, three files per batch. That covers the occasional merge, and its day pass is a graceful answer for a heavy afternoon: $1.99, unlimited for 24 hours, done.
PDFRaw free has no operation counter. The limit is 100 MB per file, every tool included, no account. A 40 MB scanned contract, a batch of conversions, and an OCR pass in one sitting is a normal free session here and four days of allowance there.
Seventeen tools versus one hundred and thirteen
JustPDF covers merge, split, compress, rotate, flatten, unlock, sign, OCR, a handful of conversions, and AI chat. Done well, that is a useful kit, but the edges are close: there is no editing or annotating, no password protection, no watermark or page number tools, no PowerPoint conversion, and nothing beyond PDFs and images.
PDFRaw covers that whole list and the rest of the document day: a full editor that changes existing text, form filling with a free template library, protection and unlocking, every direction of image, audio, video and ebook conversion, transcription, and AI summarizing and translation. Young products grow, and JustPDF may well fill these gaps; today the gap is this wide.

JustPDF's site names no company, no person, and no address; the domain sits behind registrar privacy, and the service is a few months old. None of that proves anything wrong, and its architecture means your files mostly stay with you regardless. But accountability is part of privacy, and there is currently nobody identifiable to hold accountable.
