What is IMM 5562?
The Supplementary Information Your Travels form gives IRCC a structured history of a person travel outside their home country. For each trip you record the length of the absence, the destination country, and the reason for travel. Most applications ask for the last ten years, or since your eighteenth birthday if that is more recent. Follow the exact wording in your guide or request letter, since requirements differ by program.
What if I cannot remember exact dates?
Give your best accurate estimate and be consistent with any dates elsewhere in your application. Do not leave gaps unexplained, as officers may ask you to account for missing periods.
