What is SBA Form 413?
SBA Form 413, Personal Financial Statement, lists your personal assets, liabilities, income, and contingent liabilities so the SBA can assess repayment ability and creditworthiness. It is used in the 7(a) and 504 loan programs, disaster loans, surety bond guarantees, the 8(a) business development program, and the Women-Owned Small Business certification program.
The form asks for detail behind the summary numbers: bank accounts, stocks and bonds, real estate holdings, life insurance, notes payable, and unpaid taxes each get their own schedule. Owners typically complete it based on their share of jointly held property, and spouses may need to complete or sign it depending on the program and how assets are held.
