VA Form 21-674b, School Attendance Report, is the shorter companion to VA Form 21-674. VA typically sends it to beneficiaries who are receiving benefits for a schoolchild, asking them to confirm continued attendance, report the current school and program, and disclose any changes such as reduced course loads, transfers, marriage of the student, or leaving school.

The current edition is dated November 2024. Returning the report promptly matters: if VA cannot verify attendance, it stops the additional benefit for the student, and benefits paid after a student left school become a debt.
