What is VA Form 26-4555?
The SAH grant helps veterans with qualifying severe service-connected disabilities, such as the loss or loss of use of limbs or certain blindness, buy, build, or remodel a home to live barrier-free. The SHA grant is a smaller grant for adapting a home for other qualifying disabilities, such as certain vision loss, loss of use of hands, or severe burns. There is also a temporary grant, TRA, for veterans living for a time in a family member's home.
