What is DV 1611?

The form can be used against an assessment for income tax and national insurance, the income-related healthcare contribution, corporation tax, and turnover tax including an additional VAT assessment, as well as their navordering and naheffing counterparts and the income used for an allowance.

As with the private form, the useful part is the explanation. State which element of the assessment is wrong, what the correct figure is, and on what basis.

How to fill out DV 1611

  1. Have the assessment to hand for its date, number and amount.
  2. Fill in the business details, including the fiscal number and, if you have one, the beconnummer of your adviser.
  3. Say which assessment you are objecting to and what should change.
  4. Set out the grounds and the figure you believe is correct.
  5. Sign the form and post it to the address printed on it.
