What is IMM 5476?
The Use of a Representative form, IMM 5476, is issued by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). You use it to appoint a person to deal with IRCC for you, and to say whether that representative is paid or unpaid. A paid, or compensated, representative must be authorised, which generally means an immigration consultant in good standing with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants, a lawyer or paralegal who is a member of a Canadian law society, or a notary of the Chambre des notaires du Québec.

No. A paid representative must be authorised, which generally means an immigration consultant in good standing with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants, a lawyer or paralegal who is a member of a provincial law society, or a Quebec notary.
How do I cancel a representative?
Use the same IMM 5476 form and complete the section for cancelling the appointment of a representative. Submit it to IRCC so your file is updated to remove the earlier representative.
