What is Formulier 17?
Dissolving a partnership ends the cooperation between the partners. The register needs the date and needs to know what became of the business: whether it stopped, or whether one of the partners or a third party took it over and continued it.
That second question matters commercially. A business that continues under a new owner keeps trading, and the register has to show who is behind it now.
Who files Formulier 17?
- Partners winding up a vof or cv
- A maatschap that has been dissolved
- Members ending a rederij
- A partner continuing the business alone after the others leave
How to fill out Formulier 17
- Give the KVK number of the partnership.
- Give the date of dissolution as dd-mm-yyyy.
- Say what happens to the business: it ends, or it is continued and by whom.
- Where the business continues, give the details of the new owner.
- Print, sign in pen, and send the form to KVK.
