TD1BC: 2026 British Columbia Personal Tax Credits Return

TD1BC is the British Columbia Personal Tax Credits Return. You complete it with the federal TD1 so your employer or payer can calculate how much British Columbia income tax to deduct from each payment.

What is TD1BC?

TD1BC, the 2026 British Columbia Personal Tax Credits Return, is a Canada Revenue Agency form your employer or payer uses to determine the British Columbia portion of income tax to withhold from your pay or pension. You claim the provincial personal amounts that apply to you, such as the basic personal amount and credits for a spouse, dependants, age or disability. It works alongside the federal TD1 to set your total tax deducted at source.

TD1BC is a dynamic PDF that the CRA publishes in Adobe XFA format. It does not fill in a web browser, so it will not display in the in-browser editor or quick-fill form here. Download it and open it in Adobe Acrobat Reader to complete the fields, then print and sign it for your employer.

Who files TD1BC?

  • Employees working in British Columbia starting a new job
  • Pensioners and payees in British Columbia subject to tax withholding
  • BC workers whose personal credits change during the year
  • People who claim more than the basic personal amount in British Columbia
