What is Formulier 2?
A vof, a cv and a rederij are samenwerkingsverbanden: two or more people or entities carrying on a business together without a separate legal personality. Form 2 registers the partnership itself, its trade name, activities and addresses.
It covers a new partnership as well as the case where the partnership takes over an existing business or branch and continues it. The partners themselves are registered separately, on form 10, so both forms travel together for a first registration.

How to fill out Formulier 2
- State whether this is a new partnership or a continuation, and give the start date as dd-mm-yyyy.
- Enter the trade name and describe what the partnership does.
- Give the visiting address, the postal address if it differs, and the contact details.
- Answer the questions about the partnership agreement and any restrictions on the partners authority.
- Print the completed form, sign it in pen, and send it in with form 10 for the partners.

Do I also need form 10?
Yes, for a first registration. Form 2 registers the partnership and form 10 registers the partners or members. KVK cannot complete the registration with only one of them.
What is the difference between a vof and a cv?
In a vof every partner is a managing partner. A cv also has one or more silent partners who put in money but may not act for the business. The form asks you to say which partners are which.
