What is Formulier 26?
When a public law entity runs a business, the Handelsregister records who may act for it and to what extent, exactly as it does for a company.
The form asks for each officer identifying details, their role, the date it started, and the scope of their authority.
Who files Formulier 26?
- Public bodies with a business registering their officers
- Joint arrangements appointing someone to act for the business
- Public entities updating who holds signing authority
How to fill out Formulier 26
- Give the KVK number of the public law entity, or file this with form 25.
- Fill in the details of each officer, including the burgerservicenummer where they have one.
- Give the role and its start date as dd-mm-yyyy.
- Describe the authority and any limit on it.
- Print, have each officer sign in pen, and send the form with copies of the ID documents named.
